Product Description

State® Squall™ is a heavy-duty, non-chlorinated, non-foaming caustic cleaner for CIP and boil out cleaning applications. The unique formulation is designed to attack a wide range of stubborn soils including, carbon, fat based soils, grease and oil, protein, and carbohydrates in food processing environments. Soils are saponified and held in solution by anti-redeposition agents, which prevent the soil from reattaching to equipment and aid in rinsing.

EFFECTIVE
Effective at a wide range of temperatures, Squall can be used at 75°F (23°C) or heated to 200°F (93°C). The special blend of surfactants makes Squall ideal for CIP applications. NSF certified as a degreaser/carbon remover (A8), for use in Federally inspected meat and poultry plants. The NSF certification assures inspection officials that the product formulation and label meet the appropriate food safety regulations. State Squall is also CFIA listed as a general cleaner for food plants.

Directions for Use

CIP Cleaning: Flush system with water. Dilute 2 - 6 ounces per gallon of water, depending on degree of soil. For best results, warm solution to 130°F - 200°F. Circulate through system until soils are removed. Drain system and rinse with potable water.

Boil Out: Dilute 2 - 6 ounces per gallon of water, depending on degree of soil. For best results, heat solution to desired temperature. Circulate through system until soils are removed. Drain system and rinse with potable water.

Soak Cleaning: Dilute ounces per gallon of water, depending on degree of soil. For best results use hot water. Soak until soil is softened or removed. Agitate if necessary. Rinse thoroughly with potable water.

DO NOT USE ON ALUMINUM NOT FOR PRESSURE WASHER APPLICATIONS: Squall™ is an industrial strength, heavy duty product. For this reason care should be utilized on painted surfaces where paint removal is not intended.

FOOD CONTACT SURFACES MUST BE RINSED WITH POTABLE WATER AFTER TREATMENT WITH THIS PRODUCT.
