Product Description

SPECIALLY FORMULATED

Quick-Pass™ is specially formulated to quickly and completely passivate ferrous metals by forming a protective film. Quick Pass reacts with the metal surface to form a corrosion inhibitor / metal completx that is corrosion resistant and extreamly durable.

PROTECTION IN ALL SEASONS

Corrosion is an ongoing issue in most cooling and heating systems. Unchecked, corrosion can cause severe damage to expensive capital equipment and piping. Repairs can cost thousands of dollars. Most water treatment programs can effectively control corrosion during the operating season but are unable to protect metal surfaces during the off-season due to shut-downs (no water flow).

PRE-TREATMENT AND PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

Quick-Pass™ should be used at spring start-up to pre-treat and passivate all metal surfaces. It should be used again in fall, just prior to system shut-down to preserve metal surfaces during the off season. Quick-Pass will protect any ferrous metals it contacts.

Directions for Use

For Cooling Tower Corrison Control: 1. Prior to starting the cooling system add Quick Pass™ to the condenser water or Tower Basin at a rate of 1 gallon per 1,000 gallons of water volume. 2. Cirulate the system water for a minimum of 24 hours without bleed-off or addition of biocides. 3. Begin your normal State Water Treatment Program with normal bleed-off.
